Introduction
I realize that the Covid-19 virus exists, and that at the time of publishing this article (December 10th) we are fast approaching 300,000 people who have died with/from the Covid-19 virus in the US since February 15, 2020.
(Comparatively speaking, according to the CDC, approximately 2.8 million people die in the US every year, the average age being 78.)

There are approximately 332 million people in the US.
Doing the math, about .09% of the total US population has died from/with the Covid-19 virus, which translates to 9/10,000 people so far.
Covid-19 infections can be very serious or very mild.
Recovering from Covid-19 can result in long-term (“long haul”) effects which approximately 10% of infected people experience for weeks or months following a Covid infection. According to a September 2020 National Institute of Health article, these effects include:

The Covid virus is real. Lingering symptoms in some people are real, and more people will die with/from the Covid-19 virus in the future. However, not everyone will be willing to take the Covid-19 vaccine. Here is a list of 10 reasons why:
Reason 1- Some vaccine skeptics analyzed the data related to Covid-19 infections and deaths and have decided against taking the vaccine.
Reason 2- All positive test results don’t mean the same thing.
Reason 3- Some vaccine skeptics are concerned about the side effects of vaccines.
Reason 4- Many doctors and scientists hold different views on Covid-19, but have been denied access to the mainstream media.
Reason 5- Many vaccine skeptics realize that the pharmaceutical companies are largely unaccountable to vaccine injured people.
Reason 6- This vaccine has been rushed….developed over 10 months instead of the usual 10-15 years it takes to develop a vaccine.
Reason 7- Vaccines don’t always work; Some people never take flu vaccines.
Reason 8- Many vaccine skeptics think that there is a back story to Covid-19… The Great Reset
Reason 9 - Many Covid- 19 vaccine skeptics value the US Constitution. They are suspicious of government overreach and surveillance. They don’t want speech censored.
Reason 10- There has been very little respect given to the human immune system throughout the Covid-19 situation… and safe treatments for Covid-19 already exist!
To better understand vaccine skeptics, let’s take a closer look at each of these 10 concerns.
Reason 1- Some vaccine skeptics analyzed the data related to Covid-19 infections and deaths and have decided against taking the vaccine.
Most people survive the Covid-19 infection. This chart is from an Illinois newspaper published on December 3rd. It shows the chance an infected person has of dying from/with Covid-19 in different age groups. From that number we can deduce what their probability of death is… and their probability of survival.
For example, if you are between the ages of 20-49, for every 5000 people who get infected with the Covid-19 virus, 1 person will die. This equates to 0.02% dying… and 99.98% surviving. Almost everyone who gets infected with the Covid-19 virus survives.

Moreover, 94% of people who die with / from Covid have co-morbidities. That means that nearly everyone who dies from /with Covid has underlying health problems like lung disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity or kidney disease. In fact, the average person who dies from/with Covid has 2 or more co-morbidities. The average age of death in the US with/from Covid-19 is 76, and a full 42% of Covid deaths occur in nursing homes.

From the National Institution of health we read:
“...the elderly, especially those in long-term care facilities, and people of any age with serious underlying medical conditions are at a greater risk of getting COVID-19. The elderly, a vulnerable population, with chronic health conditions such as diabetes and cardiovascular or lung disease are not only at a higher risk of developing severe illness but are also at an increased risk of death if they become ill. “

There is a distinction between dying with Covid and dying from Covid. For example, on the death certificate if the person dies of a heart attack and yet has a Covid infection, he died with Covid, not from it. Here is how the CDC instructs coroners and doctors to fill out the death certificate:

Clearly. the younger and healthier a person is, the less chance he or she has of dying from/with Covid-19. Some people will argue that we should get vaccinated to prevent the spread of Covid-19 to others…. However, a vital question remains: will the vaccine prevent the spread of Covid-19 to others?
The president of Pfizer, Alberta Bourla, admitted (on December 5th) on the NBC program “Dateline” that he isn’t sure that the vaccine will prevent virus transmission:
“Host Lester Holt asked Bourla: "Even though I've had the protection, am I still able to transmit it to other people?"
Bourla responded: "I think this is something that needs to be examined. We are not certain about that right now with what we know."”

Dr Fauci says the same thing. He says the vaccine will reduce the viral load and make us less sick if we get infected with Covid-19… but we don’t know yet if it will stop the spread of the virus. In other words, even if everyone took the vaccine, we aren’t guaranteed to get back to life as normal. To sum, some people will refuse the vaccine because very few healthy people die with/from Covid-19 and it is unsure if the vaccine reduces transmission.
More importantly, we don’t know the side effects of the Covid – 19 vaccine. (Reason #3)
Reason 2- All positive test results don’t mean the same thing.
Some people take a PCR test and are told they are Covid positive. However, they aren’t sick, have no symptoms... and never develop symptoms.
The reason that some people test positive but have no symptoms and may not even be able to transmit the corona virus is that the PCR test is set to be too sensitive. When the test is too sensitive, the amount of virus picked up by the test is insignificant and the person is not likely to be contagious.
The concept “Cycle threshold” is important to understand because having PCR tests that are too sensitive may have led to unnecessary lock downs.
Cycle threshold means how many times the Covid gene segments are amplified in order for the PCR test to detect the Corona virus. The fewer cycles required before you detect the virus, the greater amount of virus there is. The more virus a person has the more likely he is to be contagious. Some experts are saying that if a test has a cycle threshold at 30… and no virus is detected, you could say the person is negative for Covid-19. You don’t have to go up to a higher threshold like 40… in order to keep looking for it.
According to the NY Times article, “Your Coronavirus test is positive, but maybe it shouldn’t be”:
“Some of the nation’s leading public health experts are raising a new concern in the endless debate over coronavirus testing in the United States: The standard tests are diagnosing huge numbers of people who may be carrying relatively insignificant amounts of the virus.
Most of these people are not likely to be contagious…
“We’ve been using one type of data for everything, and that is just plus or minus — that’s all,” Dr. Mina said. “We’re using that for clinical diagnostics, for public health, for policy decision-making.”
Any test with a cycle threshold above 35 is too sensitive, agreed Juliet Morrison, a virologist at the University of California, Riverside. “I’m shocked that people would think that 40 could represent a positive,” she said.
A more reasonable cutoff would be 30 to 35.…
In three sets of testing data that include cycle thresholds, compiled by officials in Massachusetts, New York and Nevada, up to 90 percent of people testing positive carried barely any virus, a review by The Times found.”

It’s very important to note that we might have shut down large areas of the country due to positive test results in people with barely any virus and not deemed very, if at all, contagious.
Associate Medical Director at MIT Shawn Ferullo explains the PCR cycle threshold level this way:
“… the amount of virus in a sample is directly correlated with the number of amplification cycles needed to detect it, a number known as its cycle threshold (Ct). A positive test that comes back positive in 20 cycles contains a greater amount of virus than one requiring 40 cycles. Right now, we just call both results “positive.” …. the greater the viral load, the more contagious the patient is likely to be..Ferullo acknowledges that the test’s 40-amplification-cycle protocol … could result in unnecessary isolation for some people...”

(Note at the end how Ferullo says that the test’s cycle at 40 could result in unnecessary isolation for some people...which stands to reason means that they are not contagious.)
Finally, a September 2020 article from the Star newspaper in Minnesota talks about the lack of a consistent PCR cycle threshold across the country:
“The state lab uses a CDC-derived test with a threshold of 38, while a test derived at Mayo Clinic has a threshold of 35. Thresholds vary from 40 to 45 for three commercial platforms used by HealthPartners’ lab in Eden Prairie and by the private labs with which the health system has contracts.”

We have shut down businesses and closed schools nationwide based on PCR tests with too many cycles (40) leading to huge numbers of people claimed to be contagious when they are not. As a nation we should have chosen a more reasonable PCR cycle threshold. We possibly could have avoided a lot of pain. The issue of having a consistent PCR cycle threshold nationwide needs to be addressed immediately. As one possible solution to this problem, the state of Florida now requires that test results also publish the Cycle Threshold number used to produce the results.
In short, many people won’t take the Covid-19 vaccination because they aren’t sure how big of a threat the virus is due to the lack of accuracy of the PCR test. Add to that, many of them have very large social circles and haven’t known anyone who has got extremely sick from Covid-19 or have died from/with it.
Reason 3- Some vaccine skeptics are concerned about the side effects of vaccines.
In 1976, the last time Americans were mandated to take a vaccine, the Swine Flu vaccine, some of them ended up suffering from Gullain – Barre syndrome as a side effect. They suffered:
“….a rare problem where the body’s immune system attacks the nerves. It leads to weakness and tingling in the extremities, and in some cases can be severe, leading to other complications and paralysis”

Also, the HPV vaccine is routinely given without serious side effects…yet in the following case it was determined to be the cause of a young woman’s death:
“When their 21-year-old daughter died unexpectedly in 2008, shortly after receiving the Gardasil human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine, the Tarsell family blamed the vaccine for the tragedy and sought to hold the vaccine maker, Merck, accountable. They investigated the case and learned that their daughter had died from an arrhythmia induced by an autoimmune response to the HPV vaccine.”

And now let’s turn to the Covid-19 vaccine.
Shockingly, we are actually being warned that some of the Covid-19 vaccines have the possibility of making females infertile!
You can read about the risk of infertility on page 5 (# XI) of this Stay of Action filed with the European Medicines Agency by Dr. Wolfgang Wodarg and Dr. Michael Yeadon, the former head of Pfizer research. They are trying to halt some of the Covid-19 vaccines due to this concern.
“There is no indication whether antibodies against spike proteins of SARS viruses would also act like anti-Syncytin-1 antibodies. However, if this were to be the case this would then also prevent the formation of a placenta which would result in vaccinated women essentially becoming infertile.”

In terms of a known Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine side effect, 4 test subjects got Bells palsy. The December 9th article (link below) goes on to explain the % of people who had side effects, what the side effects were and their severity.
“Four trial participants who received the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine experienced facial paralysis, according to the Food and Drug Administration. The FDA said the issue should be monitored as the jab becomes more widely available.
The potentially concerning cases were revealed after the US drug regulator published an analysis of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine ahead of a meeting to consider emergency use authorization for the jab in the United States.
According to the documents, Bell’s palsy, a form of temporary facial paralysis, was reported by four participants during phase 3 trials. The individuals had been administered the jab, and no members of the placebo group experienced similar adverse effects.
The condition resembles a stroke, with most sufferers watching helplessly as one side of their face droops and their muscles go limp. In some rare situations, both sides of the face may become paralyzed. It is unclear what causes Bell’s palsy, although the temporary paralysis usually goes away on its own.”

And just today (December 9th) a report came out about the Pfizer vaccine causing very bad side effects when it was given to the first group of healthcare workers in the UK.
“England’s National Health Service (NHS) warned Wednesday that people “with a history of a significant allergic reaction to a vaccine, medicine or food” should not be given the COVID-19 vaccine developed by U.S. pharmaceutical giant Pfizer and Germany’s BioNTech. UK’s Medical and Health products Regulatory Agency, as reported by The Wall Street Journal, reminded health-care workers that vaccinations should only be carried out in facilities where resuscitation measures are available.
These warnings came after two National Health Service employees who were part of the first tranche to receive the vaccine on Tuesday suffered adverse reactions. NHS England said in a statement that both of the medical workers who experienced anaphylactoid reactions to the Pfizer vaccine had a “strong past history of allergic reactions.”

Finally, the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) -the UK government’s agency that regulates medicine, medical devices and blood products for transfusion- put out a call for an AI software tool to process the high volume of Covid-19 vaccine adverse side effects that they expect.
“… it is not possible to retrofit the MHRA’s (Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency) legacy systems to handle the volume of ADRs (Adverse Drug Reactions) that will be generated by a Covid-19 vaccine. Therefore, if the MHRA does not implement the AI tool, it will be unable to process these ADRs effectively. This will hinder its ability to rapidly identify any potential safety issues with the Covid-19 vaccine and represents a direct threat to patient life and public health.”

In mainstream media, people argue that there are few side effects to the Covid-19 vaccines. Yet, the UK government found a group to keep track of the large volume of side effects that they expect…. And long-term side effects are
completely unknown at this time because of the Warp Speed that these vaccines have been developed. The point is that all vaccines carry risks, and it should be up to the individual whether or not to assume those risks.

There are many doctors and scientists, as well as many people in general, who are not only skeptical of the Covid-19 vaccine, but are also skeptical of the government lock downs. They are aware of the very serious harms and extra deaths that have occurred in 2020 due to the lock down, not just to the virus.

In a nutshell-
Some media is floating the idea that we might get a stimulus check for $1500 to take the vaccine.
Doesn’t that seem weird?
But back to the point, there are many scientists and doctors worldwide who have questioned the approach we have taken to Covid-19, yet they haven’t been given a voice in mainstream media, and clearly our elected officials who choose to lock us down aren’t listening to them.
The Great Barrington Declaration
There are healthcare experts and scientists who have argued against governments’ decisions to shut down businesses and schools, and who oppose the vaccine, but they are allowed little access to mainstream media.
For example, did you know that there is a group of over 50,000 epidemiologists, doctors and scientists worldwide who have advocated for a different approach to Covid-19… one that doesn’t involve shutting down societies, thus preventing much of the economic, physical and psychological pain worldwide?

Most people haven’t heard of the Great Barrington Declaration because the mainstream media and tech giants like Google, and Facebook carefully censor what we can see on the TV news, in our newspapers, in our searches and in our social media feeds. The lock down decision and the pro-vaccine push are not allowed to be questioned. Alternative views are typically called fake news.
Unfortunately, many people feel uncomfortable listening to views different from their own. They tend to dismiss different views as conspiracy theories. Many people seem to have been conditioned to see the vaccine and the virus in certain ways, thanks to massive amounts of repetition and the disallowance of alternative views.
Truth be told, 90% of mainstream media is controlled by 6 corporations. Whatever the richest and most powerful people in the world want us to believe is broadcast and written. What we see on TV or in the top papers and magazines or hear from our politicians is curated for our consumption.

Moreover, many, if not most, of our leaders are beholden to the corporate interests which fund their campaigns or to the campaigns of those who put them in power. In terms of Covid-19, here is an example of the revolving door between pharmaceutical companies and the federal government.
Note the number of pharmaceutical bigwigs put into powerful positions in our Federal Government by the Obama, Bush and Clinton administrations.
In short, if people don’t naturally trust the mainstream media or the government … how exactly can they suddenly start to trust them?
Seeing Presidents Clinton, Bush and Obama take the vaccine on TV will do nothing to allay their skepticism or fear either.
Reason 5- Many vaccine skeptics realize that the pharmaceutical companies are largely unaccountable to vaccine injured people. If something goes wrong with the vaccine and one of us dies or gets disabled or suffers terrible side effect, there is little recourse.
Here are two excerpts from an important article published on August 28th 2020 on The Intercept entitled:

“...what will happen to the companies that make and market the vaccine if people discover they’ve been harmed by a product that was hastily brought to market?”

An amendment to the PREP Act, which was updated in April, stipulates that companies “cannot be sued for money damages in court” over injuries caused by medical countermeasures for Covid-19. Such countermeasures include vaccines, therapeutics, and respiratory devices. The only exception to this immunity is if death or serious physical injury is caused by “willful misconduct.” And even then, the people who are harmed will have to meet heightened standards for “willful misconduct” that are favorable to defendants.”

Reason 6- This vaccine has been rushed….developed over 10 months instead of the usual 10-15 years it takes to develop a vaccine.
Instead of testing the Covid-19 vaccines on animals first, the vaccine makers Pfizer and its German partner went directly to human trials. This vaccine rush is unheard of and unprecedented.
“Both US and EU authorities, and presumably also Chinese, waived the standard animal tests using ferrets or mice and have gone straight to human “guinea pigs.” Human tests began in late July and early August.
Three months is unheard of for testing a new vaccine. Several years is the norm. Because of the degree of global panic engendered by WHO over the corona virus, caution is thrown to the wind.
Vaccine makers all have legal indemnity, meaning they can’t be sued if people die or are maimed from the new vaccine.
But the most alarming fact about the new Pfizer-BioNTech gene edited vaccine is that the gene edited mRNA for human vaccine application has never before been approved. (as means of a comparison) Notably, two year peer reviewed tests with mice fed genetically modified corn sprayed with Monsanto glyphosate-rich Roundup first showed cancer tumors after nine months as well as liver and other organ damage. Earlier Monsanto company tests ended at three months and claimed no harm.
A similar situation exists with the gene edited mRNA vaccines that are being rushed out after less than 90 days human tests.”

In effect, we can’t know the side effects of a vaccine long-term. Side effects might not show up for months or years. Regarding the Covid-19 vaccine trials, according to Peter Doshi, who does research on policies related to drug safety and effectiveness:
“…. we know nothing about (the Covid-19) vaccine performance at 3, 6, or 12 months … (and) children, adolescents, and immunocompromised individuals were largely excluded from the trials, so we still lack any data on these important populations.”
Do you see what this means? It means that we don’t know how the vaccine might impact people in the future. And the vaccines haven’t been tested on children, adolescents and people with health problems, so we don’t know the effect the vaccine will have on them.

Reason 7- Vaccines don’t always work; Some people never take flu vaccines.
According to the CDC, taking the flu vaccine is effective in preventing a person from getting the flu virus only approximately 40-60% of the time.

Some might say that taking the flu shot is better than not taking it, but there are a great many people who never take flu shots. Many of those people won’t take the Covid-19 flu shot either. They don’t believe in flu vaccines. No reason to hate them for it. They might take some vaccines, like for shingles or a tetanus shot. They just don’t like flu vaccines.

Have you heard of the “Great Reset”? Suddenly, a group of the richest corporations all belonging to the World Economic Forum is concerned about making the world a better place.
Many people are skeptical of the billionaire class.
The World Economic Forum is a think tank of corporate executives from 100’s of companies like Merck, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley and Pfizer, who seem to be in the process of deciding our future. Here is what they say on their website:
“There is an urgent need for global stakeholders to cooperate in simultaneously managing the direct consequences of the COVID-19 crisis. To improve the state of the world, the World Economic Forum is starting The Great Reset initiative.”
“Clearly, the will to build a better society does exist. We must use it to secure the Great Reset that we so badly need. That will require stronger and more effective governments, though this does not imply an ideological push for bigger ones. And it will demand private-sector engagement every step of the way.”
In their own words, they are telling us that they want a leading role in our governments. I’d say they already do, but now they are making it explicit. What I wonder is why, if they see an urgent need to manage the consequences of the Covid-19 crisis, why they haven’t provided a monthly check to everyone… say 80% of a person’s previous salary. That would have helped!

One blogger who goes by the name Tessa Fights Robots, who has done extensive research into the World Economic Forum, describes the Great Reset like this:
“… the desired end result is a giant, joyless, highly controlled global conveyor of everything and everybody where privacy is tremendously expensive, dissent is unthinkable, and spiritual submission is mandatory. It’s like a 24/7 medicated reality, except the medications are both chemical and digital, and they are reporting you back to the mother ship, which can then punish you for bad behavior by, say, blocking your access to certain places or by putting a hold on your digital bank account—perhaps without any human intervention at all.”

I encourage you to both read the World Economic Forum’s website and Tessa’s post. What I came away with after reading both is the feeling that we aren’t in Kansas anymore.
Reason 9 - Many Covid- 19 vaccine skeptics value the US Constitution. They are suspicious of government overreach and surveillance. They don’t want speech censored.
Early in October, an Operation Warp Speed official told the Wall Street Journal that if you get the vaccine, you will be tracked by Google and Oracle (likely more tech apps coming) for up to two years.

Most Americans, let alone vaccine skeptics, don’t want to be monitored.
Moreover, Facebook has been taking down posts critical or questioning the vaccine….and YouTube has as well. I get that these are private companies, but by not allowing speech, they are disgusting many people and making them even more skeptical and even radical. Hence, the start of many alternative platforms.
Speech is curtailed in totalitarian regimes.
Clearly, freedom of speech is a bigger topic than can be discussed at this point. But suffice it to say, it is my opinion that the more speech is denied, the more crazy things can get.
Reason 10- There has been very little talk of or respect given to the human immune system throughout the Covid-19 situation… and safe treatments for Covid-19 already exist!
Government leaders and the mainstream media and their guests haven’t talked much to their constituents or viewers about how to improve the human immune system to guard against the Covid-19 infection. This lack of instruction or discussion was one of the most surprising things to me about the Covid situation early on. I was surprised that aside from being told a lot to wash our hands, wear a mask and socially distance, we were never told by the government or in the news how to bolster our immune system.
There are a lot of people who think seriously about their health, who make it a priority to eat a balanced diet, take vitamins, get a lot of exercise and sunlight and who understand the link between mental health and physical health.
During this time of the Covid-19 virus many people know to take vitamins C and D and Zinc… But everyone should know this… and they don’t.
There are people who never / seldom go see a doctor, who instead go to chiropractors, acupuncturists, nutritionists, and non-traditional doctors. There are people who rely on prayer to maintain their health. Everyone has the right to approach their health in ways they see fit.
Many vaccine skeptics will agree to socially distance and wear masks. However, they won’t get the vaccine.
Finally, and very importantly… Cures for Covid-19 exist!
David Degraw, a researcher and journalist who I have long-admired, has done extensive research into cures for Covid – 19 and writes:
“Ivermectin-based treatments have cured hundreds of thousands of COVID-19 infected patients worldwide. Ivermectin has also successfully protected thousands of doctors who have been treating COVID-19 infected patients. As the evidence throughout this report reveals, scientific studies and clinical trials have proven that Ivermectin-based treatments kill the SARS-CoV-2 virus in humans with little, if any, side effects.
Even better news than all of that, Ivermectin when combined with Zinc is effective in killing many RNA viruses, such as the common cold, influenza, SARS, COVID-19, Dengue Virus, hepatitis C, hepatitis E, West Nile fever, Ebola, rabies, polio and measles.”
In fact, Ivermectin has been called a “wonder drug.” In 2015 William C. Campbell, Satoshi Ōmura and Tu Youyou won the Nobel Prize in Medicine for their work in developing Ivermectin.

Conclusion… It is time to Stop Demonizing those with a different point of view
I don’t want to live in a new world where people have to show proof of Covid-19 immunity to fly, go to a concert or have a job… I don’t want to be tracked on my phone…I don’t want to be afraid to speak out…I don’t want to suffer side effects. I want to be in charge of my own health.
It feels like we are moving toward a top-down authoritarian system where there are a few super rich people and tons of poor people… who are monitored and controlled.
And I really hope that I’m wrong about that.
And I will socially distance and wear a mask until we are through this.
Just don’t expect me to get a Covid-19 vaccine.
